We are finishing the final chapters of Of Mice and Men. Throughout the next few weeks we will discuss the rights and needs of those with special needs, like Lennie.
For Homework: Listen to the podcast from This American Life. You just need to listen to the first few minutes (the prologue) of the podcast, but please listen to the whole thing if you have time!

George won't Lennie talk when they first meet their new boos. He tells Lennie the boss has to see him work before he hears him talk, otherwise they won't get the job (page 6 OMM).
