Homework: October 10

Hello Everyone!

Just a few reminders!  There is NO SCHOOL on MONDAY.

Today and yesterday we discussed how we can use the events of a story to make a prediction.

For Homework:  Write a summary about Of Mice and Men using NO  MORE than three (3) sentences.  Choose wisely.  Make sure you include only the best details.

Monday, October 6, 2014:  How can we use the information we gather from the beginning of the story to figure out the problem of the story?  Why do we need to know the problem?


Tuesday, October 7, 2014:  Create a dialogue using a conversation you have had in the past week.   Be sure you make it is at least three to five sentences long (per speaker) and that you use correct punctuation. 

For Example:  

"I want cake," said Sam.
"No, you have to eat dinner first," said his mother.

 George won't Lennie talk when they first meet their new boos.  He tells Lennie the boss has to see him work before he hears him talk, otherwise they won't get the job (page 6 OMM).
