For Homework:  Write a summary about Of Mice and Men using NO  MORE than three (3) sentences.  Choose wisely.  Make sure you include only the best details.

Monday, October 6, 2014:  How can we use the information we gather from the beginning of the story to figure out the problem of the story?  Why do we need to know the problem?


Tuesday, October 7, 2014:  Create a dialogue using a conversation you have had in the past week.   Be sure you make it is at least three to five sentences long (per speaker) and that you use correct punctuation. 

For Example:  

"I want cake," said Sam.
"No, you have to eat dinner first," said his mother.

Today we started  Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck (click the title for a video summary of the book).

For Homework:  Besides fiction be fake and non fiction being real, what other differences do the two genres have?
