Today we reviewed our vocabulary words and finished reading chapter 1 of Persepolis.

For Homework: Use the vocabulary OBLIGATORY

Obligatory:  (You have to because it is the law or the community says so)
1. required by a legal, moral, or other rule; compulsory
2. so customary or routine as to be expected of everyone or on every occasion.


Level 1:  Give one example of something we are obligated to do.

Level 2: Give an example of something we are obligated to do: one law and one thing we have to because our communities say so.

Level 3: Give an example of something we are obligated to do: one law and one thing we have to because our communities say so.  How do you think rules are made?
