Homework: May 15

Hello all!

Today we reviewed sentence and sentence fragments.

Ask yourself these questions to determine whether or not a group of words is a sentences:

1. Is there a subject (noun)?
2. Is there a verb?
3.  Is it a complete thought?

Practice on the sentences below.
Mark S if the group of words is missing a SUBJECT.
Mark V if the group of words is missing a VERB.
Mark I if it is an incomplete thought.
Mark C if it is a complete sentence.

Level 1:
1. Mark home early today.
2. Went to the store.
3. We all had lunch together.

Level 2:
1. When we all get home.
2. She walked all the home.
3. Although they were hungry.
4. Skipped school.

Level 3:
1. Katniss missed Peeta everyday.
2.  The Hunger Games created.
3. When the fog cleared.
4. Peeta was toured by the Capitol.
5. Hide under the table.
